The School District of Marshfield, a unified school district serves approximately 4,053 students. It employs 282 teachers and 164 support personnel. The Early Childhood/Kindergarten through twelfth grade (including a popular and successful 4-year old kindergarten program) structure involves four elementary schools within the city limits, one rural school, one middle school for grades seven and eight, and one high school for grades nine through twelve. The high school offers students the opportunity to participate in up to 22 different advanced placement classes to receive college credit. Over 75% of the 2006 graduating class continued with post secondary education.
