The School District of Marshfield offers a sequential standards-based K-12 art education curriculum. The program is taught by certified art educators who are practicing artists.
With consistent instruction in art, students develop their cognitive and visual senses, feel a sense of accomplishment through creative expression, and see their own and other cultures from different perspectives.
Some special features of the art program includeSAIL Art (a program for Grade 4-8 students identified as gifted in art), Cartooning and Animation at the Middle School, and Advanced Placement courses at the High School.
The Art Department website contains examples of artwork, course descriptions, information about programs, dates and locations of exhibitions, and pages showing work by our art education staff.
