*Companion Reading at Grade One *Core Literature, Grades K-12 *Sustained Silent Reading (Fifteen to thirty minutes daily at the elementary level.) *Remediation C (A plan is created for each identified student.) *Title I Program for Targeted Assistance Schools Grades 1-4 are served with the following inclusions: -Student Learning Plans -Communication Journals with Parents -Read Ins -Partners in Learning (Parent Group) -Library Night (Event at the Public Library) -Technology Night (Hands-on computer programs with parents) -Theme Nights (Dr. Seuss, etc.) -Author Night (Author shares what it is like to write books and signs her/his books for the students) -Family Picnic (Fall) -Family Awards Night (Spring)
