The Marshfield High School Social Science Department prepares students to serve intelligently in a democratic society through the study of national and international events. Students access primary and secondary sources to gain an authentic sense of other times and places. The Social Science Department staff involves students in all levels of Bloom's Taxonomy, from knowledge to evaluation. Students learn to process ideas and information as they seek to better understand the world around them.
