Youth Apprenticeship is either a one- or two-year program offered to Junior and/or Seniors. Youth Apprenticeship program is a paid work experience and guided learning opportunities.
In the junior and senior year the students will spend three to four hours in school daily taking their academic and technical classes. The student will then spend three hours on-the-job, working and learning with a mentor in the Work Based Learning portion of the program.

A state certified youth apprenticeship certificate of occupational proficiency
Technical college credit and high school credit (dual credit)
Marshfield High School diploma
Advanced placement credits

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Q - Could the student enter the work force directly after high school?
A - Yes, with an industry recognized credential and a high school diploma.
Q - What future education may the student pursue?
A - Technical College or four year college are avenues open to him/her for further learning.
Q - Could the student receive post secondary credit?
A - Yes, students may earn 12 credits accepted in Associate Degree programs by Wisconsin Technical Colleges.
Q - Will the student have summer employment?
A - Yes, during the summer between the student's junior and senior year, he/she will remain employed with the business in which he/she is completing the Youth Apprenticeship.
