For All:  All student’s in the school are a part of the program.

The Middle School Counseling Program

The counseling program at the Marshfield Middle School is provided to help students learn about themselves.  Wise choices in personal and social areas, as well as informed educational and occupational decisions are essential in the world today.

Adolescents have unique developmental needs.  This time of life brings physical emotional and cognitive growth and changes.  Counseling services include opportunities to enhance learning, study skills, relationships, communication with family and friends, decision making, problem solving, and the building of self-understanding.  Students are encouraged to talk with their counselor about any problems they may have.  By involving parents, middle school staff and the community we hope that middle school is an exciting and rewarding time for our students.
